Who We Are
The Social Circle Christian Learning Center was established in December of 1997 as a Release-Time Christian Education Program for middle and high school students of Social Circle City Schools. We are a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization completely funded by donations from individuals, businesses, organizations, and churches within the community. Our students receive credit for attending our Bible based classes during their school day.
Offering the opportunity for Christian Education to students of Social High School and Middle School since 1997.
Currently, the Social Circle Christian Learning Center offers twelve middle school connections classes and four high school elective classes annually. Classes are taken voluntarily with parental approval and are offered completely free of charge to the student. Students are transported daily to our facility located next to Social Circle Middle and High Schools in transportation provided by CLC. All of our curriculum is based on Scripture. We are regionally accredited by Advanc-ed/SACS. Students can register for our classes through their school counselor.
What We Do
We exist to prepare student's for God's purpose for their lives. Yearly we teach hundreds of students from various backgrounds with various struggles and concerns. CLC is a place where they receive support and encouragement from staff and peers, many of whom do not receive that support and encouragement from other avenues. Through our extensive curriculum that addresses real life issues such as forgiveness, respect, humility, service, gratitude, and various other topics important to character development, we are shaping our pupils into more diligent students, more respectful family members, more productive citizens, and more competent, confident, and content young people.

Year after year, we watch as our classes have a tremendous impact on our students. In the face of a culture that often teaches teenagers to be self-involved and unmotivated, we are teaching and preparing our students to better understand God's purpose for their lives, and live out that purpose day to day.
Get Involved
The Social Circle Christian Learning Center invites you to get involved in our mission through giving and volunteering. As a 501 (c) 3 non-profit we operate entirely on donations. We receive no federal funds or tax monies from Social Circle City Schools. It costs roughly $50 per student, per month to operate our program. It is through your donations that we are able to positively impact students through Christian Education. Volunteers may get involved through numerous channels including landscaping, building maintenance, event planning, guest speaking, and more.
